Even though I may have been almost totally consumed by all things wedding related the past couple of months, I seem to have found time for some work, and fun work at that! I loved working on this fall fashion story for Boston Magazine and getting to play with Chanel, Burberry, Celine, some amazing vintage jewelry and that AMAZING red lace Michael Kors dress, I still dream about owning that one. As I frantically pack for my honeymoon I wanted to share some beautiful pictures taken by friends and family at our wedding this past weekend. I just keep looking at them over and over, it was the most wonderful time I could have ever imagined, thanks to a wonderful group of vendors who made it possible, my friends and family who danced the night away with us, and most importantly my amazing husband, who I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with. xx

I’ve been pretty horrible about posting lately, I’m in the less than three weeks to go totally crazed countdown mode, and on top of that have been pretty busy working, which is never a bad thing! When Boston magazine challenged me to create some work appropriate shorts look, I jumped at the chance. Shorts at work is one of those taboo’s that’s oh so outdated, especially with all of springs great options in laces, silks and refined prints. Check out more great work shorts on their site here.
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to head down to the beautiful Elie Tahari soho store to try on some gorgeous clothes and chat about what I’m up to for their E-mag ETC. I finally got around to working on a little D.I.Y project I’ve been wanting to do for a while. These were really practice ones (done with computer paper) but after a stop at the arts & craft store today I’m ready to start the official version which will be much larger in scale. They were relatively easy to make and would be gorgeous framed or as an over sized wall hanging, which is my plan. below are some great tutorials on several different styles (one of them says it requires a lot of specialty tools but I was able to achieve the same affect using a soft surface and a 1/2 teaspoon measuring cup to give shape to the petals). Hoping I have enough time to get this project done!

I’m loving this very retro feeling August Editorial from Vogue Germany. I love all the black & white and sepia tones and how they really highlight some of the beautiful colors and textures of the fall collections. hope you have a wonderful weekend! xx
