I had my wedding makeup test today! I think I wasn’t sure what to expect, I’m not someone who really enjoys having their makeup done, and I actually think I do a pretty good job myself. I went in with a lot of ideas but I think in the end what you should truly try to achieve is too look like yourself. That’s what my makeup artist did and I left feeling gorgeous, and happy. This isn’t the day to try out that cat-eye or smoky eye that you would never normally wear, save that for someone else’s wedding day. You want your groom to recognize you, and you want to be comfortable but totally gorgeous. Here are some images that I’ll be using as inspiration for that natural but amped up beauty.
