Working In Style

It’s not really totally complete, but I just couldn’t resist! I’d like to introduce you to my fiance’s office reception area that he’s wanted to re-do for a while. That’s where I come in because what’s more fun than a room makeover!! So I started by browsing online for some inspiration..then I picked out a paint color, I love a good neutral grey! Since it’s an office I wanted it to feel warm, but still professional, so I stuck to whites and greys with some pops of yellow courtesy of this west elm rug and this lacquered tray. I added in some easy to maintain plants and a hint of metallic with the side table and coat rack, which was hidden in the office and just needed a little cleaning (I love its industrial look). I thought this clear coffee table from CB2 would fit in perfectly without feeling too bulky since the room isn’t huge. Just need to hang up a few more pictures, we want to put some B&W images of some of their properties in the frames above the couch, and I’ll think it will really be there. On to the next room for me!

Nice! I love the clean lines, balance and symmetry of furniture as well as objects on shelves. Feels very balanced and calming.
