To Outfit Post, Or Not To Post

That is the question. Before starting this I debated whether or not I wanted to do outfit posts and decided it just wasn’t really something I felt totally comfortable doing..obviously I’ll never say never..but I think I chose the career path I did because I really enjoy working behind the scenes with the certain degree of anonymity that comes with it, at least in terms of being physically recognizable. I know that has changed drastically over the past couple of years as a result of streetstyle photographers and bloggers, which I’m now a part of,  but I guess that’s a conversation for another day…the main reason I bring this all up is because of the above dress. The second I got this from Topshop I had to put it on and try out a few different outfits..and as Cher once said (from clueless if you didn’t guess) “I don’t rely on mirrors” because seriously they lie. So I snapped a few photos, threw on a few different things with it, and ended up loving it with this Phillip Lim blazer. I’m really into the more structured masculine feeling blazer with the super feminine vibrantly pastel dress. Anyway I just had to share,  I didn’t think it would really translate if you saw it on a hanger, and no it’s not an outfit…I’m not even wearing shoes! so it doesn’t count. I think I need to buy it in this color too, immediately.

P.S. I’m not saying I don’t enjoy scrolling other sites many times a week that mostly include outfit posts…because I definitely do
